The Legends & Heroes Moto Museum is offering round-trip transport to the November 7-9 AHRMA National MX and Trial at Rio Bravo MX Park. Pick-up is November 1 at the Jammer Cup in Maysville, NC, and November 4 in central Florida. They can also arrange to meet between those locations on November 2, or along Interstate 10 between Ocala, FL and Houston, TX during the week leading up to the Rio Bravo event. Space is limited to six bikes, $250 each. To make a reservation by October 27, contact Alex Moroz at 315.415.6478 or email@example.com
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the awards did not arrive at the racetrack for the September 14 round of the Northwest Maico & CZ National Vintage Motocross Series in Fairfield, WA. The organizers of the Rattler’s Run event will be mailing plaques directly to participants who earned them. The best news is that they’ll be awarding the top 50-percent of the finishers in each class, rather than the more-traditional 33-percent. Any questions can be directed to Matt James at firstname.lastname@example.org — please keep in mind it will take several days for trophies to arrive at each destination.
Another race has been added to the VMC Racing Frames National Dirt Track Series, scheduled for November 8 at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Pooler, GA. See the Event Preview for more details.
The minutes from the July 14 Board of Trustees meeting in Milleville, NJ, are now available here; this document is also permanently posted on the Member Resources page of this website.
The VMC Racing Frames National Dirt Track Series event scheduled for October 25 at Alabama’s Monster Mountain MX Park has been cancelled. The facility has closed.
On July 14, AHRMA’s Board of Trustees met to review rules proposals for the 2015 racing season. A summary of the proposals, along with the preliminary Board decisions, can be viewed by clicking here. Members are invited to provide feedback on each of the proposals prior to the October 13 meeting, when final determinations will be made.
This is a reminder for all members that the minimum age to compete in AHRMA roadrace, dirt track or TT events is 18 years of age, and the minimum age to compete in vintage/post vintage motocross, or cross country, is 16 years of age. There is no minimum age limit for trials.
AHRMA administrative staff will require proof of age be presented at sign-up to verify that these minimum age requirements are met. Anyone who cannot provide proof of age will not be allowed to compete.
