On July 14, AHRMA’s Board of Trustees met to review rules proposals for the 2015 racing season. A summary of the proposals, along with the preliminary Board decisions, can be viewed by clicking here. Members are invited to provide feedback on each of the proposals prior to the October 13 meeting, when final determinations will be made.
Californian Dave Crussell fell off his Yamaha TZ750 at New Jersey Motorsports Park on July 11 and suffered six fractures to his pelvis. He underwent a four-hour surgery on Monday, July 14, at Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where two plates stabilized the injury. He began physical therapy on Wednesday, and hopes to be strong enough to return home by the beginning of next week. Crussell is scheduled to be on crutches for the next eight weeks, which will, unfortunately, result in him missing the Isle of Man classic races this year. His wife Lorraine is planning to be back on track at Miller Motorsports Park August 29-31, and we hope to see Dave piloting the TZ and his quick Kawasakis soon!

Attention AHRMA vintage MX racers!
The Northwest Maico & CZ National Vintage Motocross scheduled as a part of the Barber Vintage Festival on October 12, 2014 has been cancelled due to construction and changes to the infrastructure of Barber Motorsports Park (BMP). After discussions with the staff at BMP, it was determined that the park does not have any other location within the facility that would allow a vintage MX track to be created.
AHRMA greatly regrets this cancellation and appreciates the support of those racers who have attended this event in the past.
No replacement venue will be added to the schedule at this time. The trial and cross country events will run as scheduled.
